A husband-and-wife team, based in Worcester, specialising in traditional lime plastering, built on craftsmanship, care and doing things properly.
The Green Plastering Company was built on a passion for doing things properly — using the right materials, the right methods, and taking the time to achieve a finish that truly lasts.
With over 30 years of experience in traditional plastering, our work is rooted in craftsmanship and a deep understanding of how buildings are meant to perform. Over time, we have specialised in lime plastering, recognising its importance in protecting older properties and supporting more sustainable ways of building.
Unlike modern gypsum plasters, lime allows a building to breathe naturally, helping to regulate moisture and reduce the risk of damp and long-term damage. It’s a material that works in harmony with the structure, making it the ideal choice for heritage properties as well as environmentally conscious homes.
Today, much of our work comes through recommendation — something we are incredibly proud of — and a reflection of the care, quality and service we bring to every project.
Our Team
Andy Band and Jason Rawlins are long‑standing members of our team, bringing over 80 years of combined plastering experience. Their wealth of knowledge spans every type of project — from modern new builds and timber‑frame homes to intricate church restorations and everything in between.
Both are dedicated to delivering exceptional workmanship and a reliable, high‑quality service from start to finish.
